The Wilson Middle School Math Department celebrated Pi Day on March 14, 2023.  

The students participated in a fundraiser from March 6-14 and students raised over $2,200!  On Pi Day, students were invited to participate in a "Pi-Day Party."  At the party, students were able to pie their teachers in the face, participate in a "pi-walk" where over 120 pies were given away as prizes, and consume countless oatmeal cream pies.  

 Classes that raised the highest class average of donations won a pizza pie or donut party. Mr. Bentley's second  period class won for 7th grade, and Miss Tagliamonte's third period class won for 8th grade.  It was a close race.    The fundraiser raised over $2,200 for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
